This policy explains what information is collected when you visit mrportella.com or buy from Mr. Portella, and how it is used. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell it, and we don't run ads or tracking on this site.

This website

• No ads, analytics or tracking cookies. This site does not set its own cookies.
• Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and secure the service.
• Fonts are served from this site, so no data goes to a font provider.
• Embedded videos. Lesson videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may collect data under Google's Privacy Policy once you play a video.

Downloads and purchases

Flashcard decks are delivered through Payhip, and payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Merchandise is sold and shipped through Fourthwall. When you download or buy, those services collect what they need to complete your order, such as your name, email address, shipping address for merch, and payment details. Mr. Portella never sees or stores your full card number. Each service handles your data under its own privacy policy.

Mr. Portella receives your name, email address and order details so that we can deliver your purchase and help with support.

Emails

You'll get emails needed for your order, such as receipts and download links. You'll only get updates about new lessons and decks if you choose to subscribe, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent your personal information. It's shared only with the services above, to deliver what you asked for, or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@mrportella.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.

Children

This site is meant for students preparing for college-level and professional exams. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
