Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026
By using mrportella.com or downloading or buying anything from Mr. Portella, you agree to these terms.
Flashcard decks: your license
When you download or buy a deck, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own studying. You may import it into your own Anki account on all of your devices, and edit your copy for your own use.
You may not share, upload, resell or redistribute the decks or their cards, images or audio, whether free or paid, in whole or in part. That includes posting them to file-sharing sites, shared-deck libraries, group chats or study groups. Tell your friends where to get their own copy instead.
Refunds
Because decks are digital files delivered instantly, sales are final once the file has been downloaded. If a file doesn't work or isn't what was described, email hello@mrportella.com and we'll fix it or refund you. Where the law where you live gives you additional rights, those rights apply.
Upgrades and bundles
Chapter and course bundles include the sections that have been released at the time you buy, unless a product page clearly says otherwise. When an upgrade discount is offered, it is applied at checkout as described on the product page.
Merchandise
Merch is printed on demand and shipped by our partner Fourthwall. Shipping, returns and exchanges for merch follow the policies shown at checkout on the merch store.
Educational use only
Lessons and decks are study aids. They are not medical advice, and we can't guarantee any exam score or admission result. We work hard to keep everything accurate, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, please let us know and we'll fix it.
Who owns what
All lessons, flashcards, artwork, the Mr. Portella name and the character design belong to Mr. Portella. MCAT® is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), which is not affiliated with and does not endorse Mr. Portella. Limits of liability
The site and its materials are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Mr. Portella isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or materials, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it last changed.
